I’ve been training with Aaron since April 2019. Considering that I was 69 years old at the time and had not done any real “working out” ever before in my life, I didn’t know what we would be doing or even if I could do it. After nearly 4 years I’ve accomplished so much – I’ve lost 26 lbs and have been able to sustain that in a healthy way; all of my clothes became too big; and I’ve got more muscle now than I did in my 20’s. I just feel so much better about myself! Oh, and my daughter and granddaughter ask me for help with heavy lifting around the house!
The two days a week that I train with Aaron are the highlight of my week, every week. People look at me funny when I say that, but I couldn’t imagine where I’d be physically and mentally if I hadn’t begun training. If someone were to ask me about training with Aaron, I would only have to say that he is the best!

I’m proud to be Aaron’s longest tenured client – we started together in December of 2015, with my primary goal being to combat the effects of osteoporosis. I knew that I needed to begin exercising regularly to keep my muscles and bones strong, improve my mobility, and improve my balance in order to be less vulnerable to falls. I am happy that I got paired up with Aaron – he has a pleasant style of training, never pushes me unnecessarily, and is always on top of correcting my form, posture, and keeping me safe.
While it will always be an ongoing battle, the strength training, mobility work, and balance training that we’ve focused on all these years has helped me feel stronger, move better, and feel more confident in avoiding falling and getting injured.
A lot has happened in both our lives over 10+ years of training together, and I continue to value not only the progress in training, but the conversations we get to have in the gym – especially talking about what each of us has been watching on TV recently. If you want a compassionate, understanding trainer that will make sure you get stronger and healthier, too, Aaron is your guy.

There's no way I'd still be playing sports at the level I am able to if I hadn't started strength training with Aaron back in 2020. I bowl twice a week, golf in the summer, and play basketball once a week (against all guys that are young enough to be my kid). And if I'm being honest, I outhustle almost every single one of them. Actually, one of the guys at basketball told me recently "I feel like you're faster and stronger than you were ten years ago." I turn 70 this year, and my plan is to continue training with Aaron at least 2 times per week and continue playing basketball, bowling, and golf for the next decade plus.
